Graakvad is a pagan black metal band hailing from Siljan, Telemark. Their style of black metal mixes old school and modern with tight grooves, shifting between the relentless aggressive darkness and melancholic atmosphere. With themes rooted in norse myhthology, paganism and folklore are delivered through through classic tremolo and blast beats, but the band don't shy away from experimenting with throat singing to soaring epic crescendos.
