Kingseeker returns with their second EP Parables!

'Parables' marks a shift in Kingseeker. This EP was written and recorded between the old and new lineup of the band.

While they stay rooted in their metalcore and hardcore aspects, the EP also sees the band expand upon other influences such as shoegaze and black metal delivered through a massive sounding production.

Parables also sees a unique lineup of Kingseeker with Emil taking up the mantle as guitarist as well as playing bass, and Jan has expanded his vocal sound repertoir exponentially. They have also brought in Fredrik Kjensberg (Diavola, Nitrobitch) to crush the kit for the EP.

"This EP is both heavier and more modern than anything we've done before. We wanted to push the Kingseeker sound forward without disappearing into a sea of overproduced music. Thematically, it's about the lies we tell ourselves, and the ones we choose to live with. On the production side, we wanted everything to feel as organic and authentic as possible, so we spent a lot of time creating guitar tones that felt alive instead of sterile."
